Location

Located conveniently in the heart of Lake Erie, the "Walleye Capital of the World", just 22 miles east from I-280 and off of Ohio State Route 2 on Russell Rd. (CR128) at Al's Harbor (N 41-36.693 W 83-06.328).

From the north or south

via I-280 take exit 7 Navarre Ave (St.Rt.2) and go east approximately 22.3 miles to Russell Rd. (Marathon gas station) turn left, proceed down Russell Rd. to just past West Long Beach Rd. (on the left) to Als Harbor (N 41-36.693 W 83-06.328) where you will find the docks on the right. Please park on the grass on the left side of Russell Rd.

Via I-75 take exit 195 (St. Rt. 795) and go east (watching for turns in the road) to Stange Rd where 795 ends and go left, proceed north on Stange Rd 3 mi. to St. Rt. 2 and turn right on St. Rt. 2 for 8 mi. to Russell Rd and turn left, proceed down Russell Rd. to just past West Long Beach Rd. (on the left) to Al's Harbor (N 41-36.693 W 83-06.328) where you will find the docks on the right. Please park on the grass on the left side of Russell Rd.

From the east or west

Via I 80/90 take exit 91 (St. Rt. 53) and go south (left) toward Fremont to East county Rd 89 and turn right and proceed to Oak Harbor Rd, Rt 19 then turn north (right), take Rt 19 (watching for turns in the road) until it dead ends into St. RT. 2 then turn east (right) for 2 mi. to Russell Rd and turn left, proceed down Russell Rd. to just past West Long Beach Rd. (on the left) to Al's Harbor (N 41-36.693 W 83-06.328) where you will find the docks on the right. Please park on the grass on the left (west) side of Russell Rd.

Local commercial airports include Toledo Express (TOL) and Detroit Metropolitan (DTW). A smaller airport servicing the Port Clinton area for private pilots and small corporate jets is the Erie-Ottawa regional airport (PCW) N 41-30-58.6  W 82-52-07.1 you can contact them at 877 380 0410 or www.portclintonairport.com. Rental cars are available at all locations.
